Ashoka's Mission

This Name caught my eye while googling for Foundations preventing human trafficking. The website has it all about what they do. There are two things I consider most unfortunate things to happen to citizens of the world, the first one being Food problem and second being held against your will and trafficked. Anyday I would jump in to solve food problem for less fortunate . This website is about a organization which tries to fight latter and in some sense former. Ashoka an historical emperor who ruled India in 3rd century B.C was so interested in building empire , he did not care about any other things in the world, but battle of Kalinga (Central India) changed him , he gave up war and decided to spread buddhist teaching around. With his trade ties to Sri Lanka , Thailand, Burma( Myanmar now) he decided to spread Buddhism, apparently he is supposed to have met disciple of Buddha on the battle fields to Kalinga. Please spend sometime on this website and see if you can make an effect.

Review of 4400,

I never watched this show last year and never heard of it either, probably because my schools kept me busy, I had a full time ever busy job and had to travel a lot to meet my fiance on other side of United States. I tuned into USA Network few weeks back, I realised, this show is interesting, with Plot thickening with every new scene. My wife and I were glued to the TV for the whole 2 hrs. This was just run as precursor to Season 2 Premier on June. I watch few sci fi series, I am not a big fan of a lot of series, but this one was good. I found this review on 4400 Season I, I felt it is worth blogging.
